My experience as a music journalist, hard news journalist and radio producer, human resources and management consultant, business consultant, business owner and copywriter gives me a unique perspective on helping clients connect with their audience regardless of subject matter, tone or audience segmentation. I love helping clients improve their businesses, connect with existing and new clients, guide and advise as well as being able to deliver engaging written content. I understand my clients' intentions and energy as well as what they're saying they want, meaning I pick up on what's not said that makes a difference in the end!

Whats the best thing to happen to you in your career to date?

Achieving the goals I've set for myself to experience as many things as possible as bringing that to my work.

What does a typical work week look like for you?:

Working with clients, training and competing my horses, socialising, taking my dog for walks.

Describe your working environment in a few sentences..

I often work from home which is a small farm with my horses and dog, or go to local cafes.

What sets you apart from other freelancers in your industry?

My experience writing in such a diverse range of environments across a variety of platforms, and also for different industries. My interviewing skills mean I can tap into stories about people many others miss.

What are the tools of your trade?

Laptop. phone, recorder for interviews, notebook.

Do you collaborate with others? If yes, how does that works?

I haven't had a need to or been asked to in terms of other specialists. I tend to collaborate with clients in a consulting capacity on specific projects or to give advice.

Whats been the biggest freelancing lesson to date?

Identifying clients who match my approach.
