Anthony Farrugia

A1 Designs

Hi, My names Anthony and I've been a Web Designer/ Fronted Developer for close to 10 years.

I started off working for a small candle company doing packaging and general website maintenance, it was a fun job but wasn't the best for me to expand my skills as I was a solo worker, everything was self taught and it was a only a part time gig. A year on I got a job with a company that tried to build something like WIX but unfortunately it wasn't successful and suffered from financial troubles prior to me being hired (something I wasn't aware off till a few months in). I left the company just shy of a year.

Even though the job didn't work out I worked with a small team where I was able to learn and expand my skills, right then is where I knew I wanted to focus more on UI//UX Design and give the user the best experience when coming to a website. After a year or so of working at a restaurant catering company and doing all their website and graphic design I landed a job at Adtorque Edge (Current company I'm working for). We started off as a team of 4 and now have grown to have over 50 staff members in over 4 different countries. We are one of the leading design companies for the automotive industry around Australia and New Zealand.
