Whats the best thing to happen to you in your career to date?

Having a grant application I reworked for a writers festival funded after four years of trying before I came along. Without changing their programming I was able to craft a grant application to match the funds body’s long term goals. I was also able to focus more on their community impacts rather than festival outputs.

What does a typical work week look like for you?:

A mix of great clients, family and after school activities, down time and cryptic crosswords with my husband.

Describe your working environment in a few sentences..

Artistic. Varied. Some times from home, some times from an office above a record store, some times from a local independent gallery or the library.

What sets you apart from other freelancers in your industry?

My weird mix of understanding of statistics, strategic nous and creative flair. And my surname.

Sometimes. Usually via shared documents on fixed price projects. I also white label for an agency.

Tell people more. They usually want to hear it even if you think you're rambling.
