I began my career running events for Southern Cross Austereo and continued managing events for national brands and clients across; radio, experiential activations, media and blogger events, product launches, corporate and consumer clients and large-scale networking events for PR, Marketing and Advertising professionals, throughout Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I have more than seven years of experience in the Public Relations industry and experience driving creative PR strategies and campaigns to achieve positive media coverage for a diverse portfolio of clients across print, digital and broadcast mediums. I love to build long-term relationships with my clients, knowing their product or brand inside and out to nurture and grow the brand, giving my clients the time they deserve. I started this freelance journey because I love working with a diverse range of clients.

Whats the best thing to happen to you in your career to date?

That is tough! It would be between securing media famils and working with Sydney's senior editorial teams; Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Marie Claire, Escape, Elle and Qantas. I also love planning and executing client product launches and working with media and influencers, such as; Kate Waterhouse, Candice Warner, Kyle Clarke, David Kosh, Rose Byrne, Zoe Hamish-Blake and Megan Gale and Shelley Craft.

What does a typical work week look like for you?:

It can be anything from creating new business proposals, outreach to influencers, reading up on the newest PR trends or creating a standout PR campaign for my clients.

Describe your working environment in a few sentences..

I have set up a clean, creative and modern workspace which allows me to delve into tasks and work without distraction to produce outstanding work.

What sets you apart from other freelancers in your industry?

I've learnt from years in agencies that a client deserves a full service, time and full attention to deliver results they deserve. Everyone has a story to tell and I love brainstorming creative PR strategies to deliver stand out media and key business objectives.

What are the tools of your trade?

I specialise in media relations, media management, social Media management, writing, event planning and management, strategic campaign development, influencer management and outreach, creative and tailored writing; media releases, media statements ,website copy , EDMs and I have a strong ability to discern a client brief and produce fresh, innovative ideas, in addition to issues and crisis management and Stakeholder management.

Do you collaborate with others? If yes, how does that works?

I do, when I feel I can't offer a specialised service a client requires for expertise, such as SEO, photography or more.

Whats been the biggest freelancing lesson to date?

Open communication, a clear end goal and allowing the creativity to flow.
