Hi, I’m Tiffany Gouge,

I’m a graphic designer, branding specialist, and the founder of Studio: Tiffany Gouge. I’m also a proud business owner who wants my brand to look its best. You’re here because you want that too – and I can certainly help!

There are many elements that come together to make a brand truly memorable. The perfect colour palette to make things pop… a logo design you can’t look away from… pristine lines and luscious layouts that feel like a party for your eyes. As a graphic designer, I do all this – but I do so much more.

MY EXPERIENCE

Before starting Studio: Tiffany Gouge in 2013, I worked as a pre-press designer, a graphic designer for a magazine, and an all-round graphic design guru at a local printer. Since going solo, I’ve read hundreds of books on branding, stayed up to date with industry developments, and even topped my class in Identity Design at Charles Sturt University.

I’ve evolved from being the go-to graphic designer in Orange to a sought-after brand identity expert for businesses across Australia and beyond. To date, I’ve helped over 300 small businesses and SMEs create brilliant brand identities. I love what I do – and so do my clients.

MY APPROACH

When it comes to brand identity design, the difference is in the detail. No matter how large or small your project, I take meticulous care to get every detail just right.

No one knows your business better than you do. Before I start creating, I ask you to complete a detailed design brief outlining key elements of your business and what you want to achieve. This allows me to research and develop the best possibilities for your brand. It also means we’re on the same page from the very beginning.

I believe the best results come from collaboration, and I keep you in the loop throughout the design process. There are many chances to provide feedback as your brand evolves. As for the finished product, I’m not happy unless you are. It’s that simple!

Whats the best thing to happen to you in your career to date?

Leaving my 9-5 job, and going solo full time!

What does a typical work week look like for you?:

I work Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Mondays are a day for business development and hanging with my cheeky 3-year-old!

Describe your working environment in a few sentences..

I work from my beautiful, sunlit home office. I have a hot cup of tea and music playing in the background.

What sets you apart from other freelancers in your industry?

I’ve been a graphic designer for over a decade. In that time, I’ve been lucky to learn from some of the brightest minds and leading professionals in printing, pre-press and publication. I’ve gained formal qualifications (unlike many graphic designers), immersed myself in learning, and amassed years of first-hand experience fine-tuning my craft.

What are the tools of your trade?

HP PC, Wacom Intuos Pro Tablet, Adobe CC & the good ol' internet!

Do you collaborate with others? If yes, how does that works?

Yes, my career has been built on collaboration. Any project in which I need to collaborate with others to complete your job will have the fees built into the quote. You will only need to deal with me, I will handle all of the internal correspondence and project management.

Whats been the biggest freelancing lesson to date?

Ask for a project deposit and trust my gut! It is okay to say no to a project if it does not align with what I do and the values I hold.
