Studio: Tiffany Gouge

Hi! I'm Tiffany.

I have been working as a qualified graphic designer for almost a decade, spending most of my career working within the print and publication industry gaining valuable knowledge and experience. In 2011, I decided to start my own business and dedicated myself to building and creating my client’s business brand identities. I am committed to providing top of the game customer service, industry leading design and delivering your project on time.

I am not happy unless you are. It’s that simple! I have a comprehensive design brief which covers all aspects of your business brand – allowing me to research and develop the best possibilities for your brand. This is where the magic happens: even before I have started my first sketch.

As a client, you are kept in the loop the whole way, with many chances to review and provide feedback on your developing brand.

I specialise in business brand identities. Allowing me to focus on one design discipline, let’s me hone in and be the best at what I do.

Brand Identity design includes: Logo Design, Corporate stationary suite (Letterhead, With comp slips, Envelope, Presentation folder, Business card), flyers and brochures, Digital Media (Digital Letterhead Template, Social Media Graphics, Email Signature), Brand guidelines and more.

Q & A

Whats the best thing to happen to you in your career to date?

This year, i signed my first international client - all the way from Dublin!

What does a typical work week look like for you?:

I have small children home with me, so i usually work 2 full days when the kids are in care, and half days the other 3 days. Weekends and public holidays are spent relaxing!

Describe your working environment in a few sentences..

I work from my office at home, or if i want to mix it up - i will go and sit in a park or my favorite cafe for a few hours on a nice day.

What sets you apart from other freelancers in your industry?

Before going out on my own, i spent years working and learning from industry professionals in the print and publication industry. Many graphic designers these days walk out of their degree and into working for themselves, without getting industry experience first. My learnt working knowledge is what sets me apart from the rest!

What are the tools of your trade?

I currently have a HP computer, running 2 x acer screens, Wacom Intuos4 Tablet and Adobe CC. Indesign and Illustrator being my strengths.

Do you collaborate with others? If yes, how does that works?

No - it is just me! I do have a strong referral network though, so if you need a web developer, marketing/copywritting, printing etc, i have a 'team' i work with quite regularly which i can refer you onto.

Whats been the biggest freelancing lesson to date?

ALWAYS GET A DEPOSIT! And get a signed contract first. Otherwise, those who have intentions of screwing you over, probably will!
